Bad things happen everyday. People die everyday. But it's the senseless tragedies like these that force you to question everything you know. God is good right? So how does He allow children to be so viciously harmed. How do you reconcile something like that with what religion tells you?
I know for me personally it's changed everything I believe. Maybe because one of the little boys killed has the same name and was the same age as my brother, with the same light hair and eyes. Maybe it's because I love kids. I don't know for sure why, but I do know that I think about them every single day.
So even though its months later, I plan to send them. So that they know at least one person hasn't forgotten.
Don't forget to tell the people in your life that you love them. You never know what's going to happen, you know?
